One of the brightest sport events of the year, Ugra Ski Marathon has become a tradition in the region. This event interests people all over Russia and Europe. Every year, several thousand people go to the mass start to test their wills. Notable athletes take part in the marathon, Olympic champions, Deaflympics champions, Paralympics champions, amateur skiers for whom skiing sport has become an essential part of their life. The city prepares an extensive entertaining program for the visitors and locals. The atmosphere of a grand skiing event can be felt by every Russian citizen.
Khanty-Mansiysk is located on the junction of two rivers, Ob and Irtysh, but unlike most cities on rivers its destiny is determined not by the flow of water but by the flow of the ‘black gold.’ City’s chronology begins with the ‘times of prince Samar’ in 1582; before, the city was called Ostyako-Vogulsk, which is related to the historical names of khanty and mansi peoples. Tourists are attracted by the unique beauty of the city, the harmony between modern buildings, untouched oases of the evergreen cedars, and the culture of the native peoples. The oil luxury didn’t spoil the Khanty-Mansiysk people. They stay very friendly and welcoming, and many of them are truly committed to their work. Today, Khanty-Mansiysk is not just an oil region center, but more and more a city of sports, national culture, science, and high technology.

50 FT XC MARATHON
- Participants of 1999 year of birth and older are admitted
- Groups are formed for 1998-1999 years of birth, 1995-1997 years of birth, in 5 year gradation for 1944-1994 years of birth, and for 1943 year of birth and older.
- The winners are participants who take 1-30 places in the final standing and 1-3 places in each group.
25 FT XC ½ MARATHON
- Participants of 2003 year of birth and older are admitted
- Groups are formed without gradation for 1948-1999 years of birth; for junions 2000-2001 and 2002-2003 years of birth; for veterans 1944-1948 and 1943 year of birth and older; for paralympic LW2-9 and B1-3.
- The winners are participants who take 1-3 places in each group.
5 FT XC OPEN TRACK
- Participants of 2000-2001 year of birth and 2002 with trainer permission are admitted
- Groups are formed without gradation for 1928-2003 year of birth; foe children 2004-2005, 2006-2007, 2008 year of birth and older; for paralympic LW10-12
- The winners are participants who take 1-3 places in each group.

INSURANCE
To receive a bib, participants must provide identification document; original of the medical certificate dated not before 6 months until the date of the competition with the seal of the issuing institution, doctor’s signature, and indication of permission to participate in the competition in the selected distance race; personal life, health, and accident insurance; and fill out a claim on personal responsibility for their own health.
The insurance is abailible in the Race office in bib distribution dates.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of illness or absence, race cancellation due to the bad weather conditions or circumstance beyond the control of the organizers, the entry fee will not be refunded. Competitors who are unable to take part in the race may transfer their entry fee to a person of their choice or transfer the 50% of the entry fee as prepayment for their participation in the next season competition in 2019. It is also possible to change the race distance in case of vacant bibs.
The pre-registration is possible only with written application sent to the Race Office email until 06.04.2018.
Participants starting the race under false name will be disqualified.

HOW TO GET US?
You can get to Khanty-Mansiysk by plane. Direct flights to Khanty-Mansiysk from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Ufa, Kazan and from the cities of Khanty-Mansiysk region - Ugra (KhMAO) - Beloyarsky, Berezovo, Igrim, Kogalym, Kondinsk, Nizhnevartovsk.
There is no direct rail connection with Khanty-Mansyisk. The nearest railway stations are in Nyagan, Priobskoye, Demyanka, Surgut, Pyt-Yakh. You can get by thain to one of these stations, then change to a taxi or a shuttle to Khanty-Mansiysk.
In Khanty-Mansiysk you can get by buses from Tyumen, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Omsk, and from all the cities of KhMAO.
WHERE TO STAY?
The partners of the Yugorsk ski marathon are the hotels Yugorskaya Dolina, Olimpiyskaya and Mustang.

Hotel «Olympiyskaya» (Khanty-Mansiysk, Engelsa, 45) - was opened in 2010 by the beginning of the World Chess Olympics. It's a favorite place for the athletes who come to the capital of Ugra for various competitions.
"Olympic" is located near the city center, 10-15 minutes from the airport and the start of the Ugra ski marathon.
Hotel "Mustang" (Khanty-Mansiysk, Gorny, Yelovaya, 34) is located near the protected area of the Samarovsky Chugas Nature Park. It's 10 minutes walk from the start of the Ugra Ski Marathon ".
