"Sokolyi Gory" is the best place in Samara for skiing because of it's unique natural terrain. Sokoly mountains and the famous Zhigulevskie mountains are the part of Zhigulevski gates around the Volga river. Sokoly mountains are named after the nesting of birds of the falcon family that was observed earlier. The peaks are the mountains of Tip-Tyv, Kuznetsova, Barsuk and Lysaya Mountain.
Samara was founded in 1586 as a fortress. After four centuries, during the World War II, Kuibyshev (Samara) was the reserve capital of the USSR. Samara is the best city in the Volga region. The famous brands: Soyuz rocket, chocolate factory "Russia", "Zhigulevskoe" beer, Volga river and Samara embankment 5 long km with beautiful sandy beaches, nature reserve "Samarskaya Luka". -

- Participants of 1999-1954 years of birth (men) are admitted
- Groups are formed for 1998-1999 years of birth, 1995-1997 years of birth, in 5 year gradation for 1954-1994 years of birth (men)
- The winners are participants who take 1-6 places in the final standing and 1-3 places in each group.
30 FT XC ½ MARATHON @ 11:00
- Participants of 2001 year of birth and older (men) and 1999 year of birth and older (ladies) are admitted
- Groups are formed for 1998-1999 years of birth, 1995-1997 years of birth, in 5 year gradation for 1934-1994 years of birth (ladies) and 2000-2001, 1953-1949, 1948-1934 (men).
- The winners are participants who take 1-6 places in the lady's final standing and 1-3 places in each group.
10 FT XC RACE @ 11:30
- Participants of 2003 year of birth and older are admitted
- Groups are formed for men 2002-2003 year of birth and for ladies 2000-2001, 2002-2003 years of birth
- The winners are participants who take 1-3 places in each group.

The amount of entry fee until 31.12.2017:
50 XC – 1 400 rub
30 XC – 1 400 rub
10 XC – 1 000 rub
If entries are available 01.01 - 22.01.2018:
50 XC – 1 800 rub
30 XC – 1 800 rub
10 XC – 1 400 rub
If entries are available 22.01- 27.01.2018:
50 XC – 2 400 rub
30 XC – 2 400 rub
10 XC – 1 800 rub
50 % discount for paralympic (document is nesessary) and following age groups:
10 km – 2002-2003 y.o.b.
30 km – 2001-1995 y.o.b.
50 km – 1999-1995 y.o.b.
At the race day registration is possible only if entries are available.

Bibs distribution by registration and the entry fee payment will be handed out at sport center «Chaika» press-center:

INSURANCE
To receive a bib, participants must provide identification document; original of the medical certificate dated not before 6 months until the date of the competition with the seal of the issuing institution, doctor’s signature, and indication of permission to participate in the competition in the selected distance race; personal life, health, and accident insurance; and fill out a claim on personal responsibility for their own health.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of illness or absence the entry fee will not be refunded.
In case of cancellation or postponement of competitions due to bad weather conditions and bad conditions of the course, the jury can announce a new date of the race or cancel the competition. If the competition is postponed, the participants who paid the entry fee are allowed to participate without additional payment. If the participant decides not to participate in the postponed race, the entry fee is not refunded. In case of cancellation of the competition, the entry fee is not refunded. The Organizing Committee will propose options for participants to compensate in the form of discounts for entry fees at the following competitions.
The participant can do re-registration (transfer of the starting number and entry fee) to another participant of the race at any time before the start. If re-registration is made from 01.01.2018 to 27.01.2018 the price is 2400 rubles. The re-registration before 01.01.2018 is free.
If the participant refunds the entry fee for objective reasons, paid for from 01.12.2017 to 27.01.2018, the expenses for organizing and preparing a ski marathon "Sokolyi Gory 2018" are deducted from the entry fee.

From Moscow to Samara by plane: Aeroflot, S7, UTair, Pobeda air companies. The flight takes 1 hour 30 minutes.
