47 MARCIALONGA
The idea of the Marcialonga goes back a long way. In 1969 Italian athletes officially took part in Vasaloppet for the first time. On 7th February 1971, the Fiemme and Fassa valleys heard the echo of the gun shot which signaled the start of the first Marcialonga, destined to revolutionise the history and traditions of skiing. After more than 45 years, Marcialonga has become an event not to be missed in the world of winter sports.
Marcialonga is founder member of the Worldloppet, the Euroloppet and the Alpentris, and these joint venture with the most important popular races of the world, has spread the name of Fiemme and Fassa anywhere.

Cavaleze, Val di Fiemme, Italy
The race passes though the Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa in Dolomites, the most beautiful region of East Alpes. Skiers have an unique opportunity to cover 70 kilometer route between several towns such as Predazzo, Moena, Cavalese, Canazei, Lago di Tesero and enjoy the fantastic alpine views. And at the end racers will «meet a wall» - 2 kilometers climb to the finish in Cavalese. -

Groups are formed for 16-17 years, 18-29 years, 30-39 years, in 10 year gradation for 60-69 years, and for 70 year and older.
The winners are participants who take 1-3 places in the final standing.

BIBS
Starting numbers must be collected at the race office in Cavalese (Congress Centre Palafiemme) presenting a document during the following hours:
- Thursday, 23th January 3:00 - 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, 24th January 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, 25th 9:00 a.m. - 8.00 p.m.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of impossibility of participation there is the opportunity to ask for the passage of the money-fee, not of the start-number, from a participant to another of the same nationality.
The written request must be submitted before 10thJanuary 2020 or before 20nd January, only for those who registered on-line, to the secretary office info@marcialonga.it by the registered person and it must contain all personal details of the new competitor.
The fee for the name change is 20,00 € until 10th January and 30,00 € until 20nd January 2020 and it will be requested at the race office when collecting the bib.
The request for distance change is accepted only in case of availability of start-numbers until 20nd January 2020 and charged of 20,00 € to be paid at the race office.
The exchange of bibs among competitors is forbidden and can lead to disqualification.
Entry-fees will neither be returned for any reason nor considered valid for next editions.For circumstances beyond one's control, the Organising Committee can decide to make changes of the course or cancel the races. In case of cancellation the organising committee will guarantee to all the registered people the 50% discount on next year fee.

HOW TO REACH US?
The race center is in Cavalese which is situated in Val di Fiemme. How to get to Fiemme and Fassa valleys:
- By car: exit Ora-Egna from Highway 22 (Brennero), follow SS48 Dolomiti road.
- By train: Ora-Egna rail station on the line Verona-Munich.
- By bus: daily connections from Ora-Egna, Trento and Bolzano rail stations.
- By plane: Milan (300 km), Verona (160 km), Venice (220 km), Innsbruck Austria (200 km), Bolzano (50 km).
WHERE TO STAY?
The race starts in Moena and ends in Cavalese. You can choose a big variety of hotels, guest houses and apartments in the nearest towns. Also you can find lodging here:
