Finlandia Hiihto is 50 km and 32 km classic technique events on Saturday and 50 km and 20 km free technique events on Sunday. All events are also included in Worldloppet serie, 32 km and 20 km will give you a stamp to short distances Worldloppet-passport.
Start and finish will once again be at the world-famous Lahti Ski Stadium. It has hosted several world class events including World Championships and World Cups over the years and will be the World Championships host once again later in February. The course will take you around Salpausselkä in hilly terrain of Lahti and Hollola. Our chief of course together with his team will prepare the conditions as perfectly as they possibly can. All skiers are our number one priority and we will do our utmost to make everyone’s ski marathon as enjoyable as possible. Our staff will take good care of you at the service stations and you can enjoy your day in Finland’s greatest Ski Marathon!

BIBS
The bib package should be collected from the Race Office during the opening hours (we recommend picking up the bib package before the actual race morning so you can avoid the rush).
CANCELLATION POLICY
In case Finlandia Ski Marathon is forced to be cancelled due to weather conditions or for any other reason that is out of the orgaziner’s control, the organizer have the right to keep 50% of the admission fee and the remaining 50% is automatically transferred to the next year’s event admission.
If the course is shortened due to extreme snow conditions or any other cause that the organizer has no control over, the admission fee is not reimbursed nor is the skier entitled to any discounts or any other forms of reimbursement.
In case of sickness a participant can apply for reimbursement. The Reimbursement is 50% of the payment made after submitting a official document (e.g. doctor’s certificate) not later than March 31st of the respective year. See details about reimbursements from our policy.
We allow you to transfer your admission to another person in case you need to withdraw from the race.
- During the regular registration period :
We do not charge extra if you wish to transfer your entry to another person. However if the course is also changed we will charge for the price difference according to our list prices. If the new course selected is cheaper we do not give reimbursement from it.
- During the late entries :
If you wish to make the change during the late entry period we will charge extra 10 € for the transfer. If the course is changed as well please see above about the possible costs (regular registration period). The transfers can only be done at the race office and it must be done before the start of your race. The person whom will take your place needs to have your confirmation letter and an authorization from you for the transfer in case you can't personally come to the race office.
Failing to transfer the admission as stated above may result in disqualification from the race.

HOW TO GET US?
- Lahti is located only 100 kilometers north from the Capital of Finland, Helsinki.
- Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is located 16 kilometers north from Helsinki downtown - and approximately 90 kilometers south from Lahti.
- Lahti Passenger Center includes both the Railway and Buss Station. It is located circa 200 meters from Lahti downtown and 1,5 from the Lahti Sport and Fair Center.
Railway
Train schedules:
- VR - National Railway
- Train from Tikkurila to Lahti takes circa 50 minutes.
- Train from Helsinki to Lahti takes circa 1 hour.
- Trains normally departure every 30 minutes during the work hours and every 1 hour in the evenings.
- The most affordable cart is marked with a letter "Z". Z-train always departs/arrives to Helsinki and will always stop at Lahti.

Tikkurila railway station is only 8 kilometers east from the airport. Easily accessed by a bus or a taxi.
