The marathon "Europe-Asia" was for the first time carried out in 1984 at the initiative of Vladimir Luzin with assistance of Uralmash plant. With development of a marathon its organization passed to regional sport committee.
It is the only marathon in Russia, start which is given in one point, at an obelisk Europe-Asia of Pervouralsk, and the finish in another - on Square "Community work Days" Yekaterinburg.
The marathon attracts with the uniqueness fans and the strongest racers of the country. In different years prize-winners of the World Cups and the Olympic Games Sergey Chepikov, Ivan Alypov, Igor Bedamshin, Andrey Kirillov, Nikolay Pankratov, Vladimir Yurin, Natalya Furletova, Irina Skladneva, Grigory Menshenin, Roman Virolaynen, Andrey Kondryshev took part in it.
Yekaterinburg, the result of Petrovsky reforms, is located on border of Europe and Asia. Called in honor of the empress Catherine I, the industrial city is founded in 1723 during industrial development of the Urals and Siberia. The main center of metallurgy and mechanical engineering is known for a sad story of the House of Ipatyev and revival of new Russia, the beginning of political career of the first President Russian Boris Yeltsin's Federations.

- Participants of 2001 year of birth and older
- Groups are formed for 2000-2001 year of birth, 1998-1999 years of birth, 1995-1997 years of birth, in 5 year gradation for 1949-1994 years of birth, and for 1948 year of birth and older.
- The winners are participants who take 1-3 places in each group.
53 FT XC MARATHON @ 11:30
- Participants of 1999 year of birth and older are admitted
- Groups are formed for 1998-1999 years of birth, 1995-1997 years of birth, in 5 year gradation for 1949-1994 years of birth, and for 1948 year of birth and older.
- The winners are participants who take 1-6 places (men) 1-3 places (ladies) in the final standing and 1-3 places in each group.

INSURANCE
To receive a bib, participants must provide identification document; original of the medical certificate dated not before 6 months until the date of the competition with the seal of the issuing institution, doctor’s signature, and indication of permission to participate in the competition in the selected distance race.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of illness or absence, race cancellation due to the bad weather conditions or circumstance beyond the control of the organizers, the entry fee will not be refunded. Competitors who are unable to take part in the race may transfer their entry fee to a person of their choice or transfer the 50% of the entry fee as prepayment for their participation in the next season competition in 2019. It is also possible to change the race distance in case of vacant bibs.
The pre-registration is possible only with written application sent to the Race Office email until 19.02.2018.
Participants starting the race under false name will be disqualified.

HOW TO GET US?
To the start point from Yekaterinburg:
by car: on the Novomoskovski route 25 km then turn right at the "Khrustalnaya" sign. Then go along the main road through the village Novo-Alekseevskoe (~ 3 km) and cross the railway. After 500 meters turn right at the T-cross, pass the railway crossing again. After another 500 meters turn left near the white stella "Crystal" base.
by train: trains in Cuzino, Sarga, Chalya, Bilimbai: station "Khrustalnaya".
To reach the place of the finish on MEGA Yekaterinburg you can by bus to the stop "STC MEGA": buses 026,06,27,37,12,25,26
For all guests and participants of the marathon a transfer from MEGA Yekaterinburg to the Khrustalnaya camp site, the Europe-Asia obelisk and back is offered.
