Finishing participants at the age of 17-18 years get the racing Russialoppet points according to the formula presented:
where tх - participant’s time, tо - marathon leader’s time, 2800 – race factor, 35 – minimal penalty for mass marathons of FIS calendar.
Russialoppet ranking by RL-points is calculated as the average arithmetic mean of the five best (the smallest) racing points of the participant during the current season and two previous seasons.
If the participant has less than 5 results, the Russialoppet rankng points are calculated as follows:
- average arithmetic of 4 russialoppet racing points * 1,1 = RL ranking points
- average arithmetic of 3 russialoppet racing points * 1,2 = RL ranking points
- average arithmetic of 2 russialoppet racing points * 1,3 = RL ranking points
- only 1 russialoppet racing points * 1,4 = RL ranking points
If RL-points between several participants are equal, the leader and subsequent places among them are determined by:
- the largest number of victories in the Russialoppet stages;
- the largest number of second places, third places, etc.;
- in the case of equality for all these indicators, the leader and subsequent places of participants are determined by the best place in the last confrontation race.
